Architectural Review Committee

The Architectural Review Committee reviews and determines the compliance of site plan and building permit applications with the provisions of Santaquin land use ordinances. Additional information is found in the city code Santaquin City Code §2-3. The Santaquin Architectural Review Committee is responsible for reviewing building and site plans for new commercial development and multi-family developments in the City. The board includes a licensed architect, a City Council representative, a building department representative, and two volunteer citizens. The board meets on an as-needed basis and is responsible for assuring the intent of the city's architectural standards is met and the community character and higher qualities are upheld.

Meetings

The architectural review committee is required to meet no more than 10 days after submission for review. Meetings are scheduled as needed.

Membership

The architectural review committee consists of five (5) members and shall at all times include the following one planning commission member, one member of the Community Development Department, and one state licensed professional architect. Members do not have to be residents of Santaquin.
