October 2021 Employee of the Month - Summer Parks Crew

Our 2021 October Employees of the Month is our Summer Parks Crew!  This group of hardworking employees really stepped up and worked hard to make the parks look fantastic this summer, especially for our Orchard Days celebration.  Some of them even turned down other job opportunities, which would have paid more, to continue working through the summer for the city so our parks would be the best they could be. They each took ownership and pride in their work and contributed greatly to the effort which has made our city parks beautiful.  The crew consisted of Courtnie Houston, Bradyn Carter, Tre Bennet, Max Mitchel, Trevor Taylor, Mitch Coombs, Darrell Wall, Rick Johnson and Chuck Rinker. Their immediate supervisor was Bryan Mecham, who is fairly new to the park’s supervision responsibility, but he did a great job at keeping the crew motivated and the parks looking top-notch. Thank you for your great work and the example you have set to everyone in our community.
